Arts practitioners, or more generally 'artists', are creatives in their chosen art forms. Practitioners are the arts' singers, painters, poets, actors, authors and sculptors. Generally speaking, successful artists are expected to be experienced and recognised by their peers, but formal qualifications and training aren't required.
